Round 5, Snetterton

This weekend was a tough weekend for us and the team. Keeping positive for the next round at Silverstone.
Qualifying – a mistake from myself and struggling for out and out pace we could only manage 9th.
Race 1 – Due to some mechanical issues with the gears – that no one could predict – we could do nothing but P9.
Race 2 – Due to not having the pace we finished P9
Race 3 – I was due to start from pole, but mechanical issues leaving the pits meant I started a lap late from the pitlane.
Massive thanks to @fortecmotorsports for all there help and work sorting the issues we had.
Round 4 – Donington
Tough weekend at Donington park, but lots learned.
Race 1 – P11 > P11
Race 2 – P11 > P12
Race 3 – P3 > P10
Without having enough pace these results were as much as I could do have achieved. They aren’t quite the results I was hoping for, but we are looking onwards and upwards for Rd.5 at Snetterton, which is coming up in a few weeks time.
Round 3 – Silverstone
Race 1 – For race one I started P9 and got a great start managing to make some moves on others around me. Then unfortunately another car and I made contact, so I ended up finishing P11.
Race 2 – I started P9 again, got a great start but I didn’t quite have the pace to keep up with the others, and eventually finishing P10.
Race 3 – For the reverse grid race I started p4, but I stalled on the start, finishing P10.
A tough weekend but without mistakes we wouldn’t learn.

Oulton Park

20th April 2022

Round 2 at Oulton Park was a strong weekend for us.
I qualified 9th for race one, managing to get up to 6th at the start, but hard racing and a mistake from myself meant I ended up 12th.
For race 2 I had qualified 8th, however, we had some mechanical issues which meant I was almost a lap behind from the start. My pace was promising, so we were looking forward to race 3.
Race 3 was the reverse grid format, I started on P2 for this race, and with a good start I retained my second place. Keeping my head throughout the race meant we had a well deserved 2nd finish at the flag.
Looking Forward to Silverstone now, and hoping for some more podium finishes.
Huge thanks to everyone at Fortec Motorsport for all their hard work throughout a busy weekend.

Snetterton 300

4th April 2022

My first race in single seaters was a great experience even though the results and pace weren’t what we would have liked. Good improvements were made through the testing and in qualifying.
I qualified P10 for race 1 and P9 for race 2, my time meant that I made the reverse grid and was off pole for race 3.
Having struggled for a bit of pace, I only managed to make up one place to finish P9 in the first race. The second race I lost one place to finish P10. The third race having a couple of incidents on the opening lap I’d dropped down to P10.
I am looking forward to round 2 at Oulton Park in 2 weeks, having got my first race weekend out of the way I think it can only get better for me.

16th February 2022

I am excited to announce that I will be joining Fortec Motorsport for the 2022 season. I will be competing in the GB4 Championship.

I have progressed well in the pre-season testing that I have done with them so far. The team have been extremely helpful to me in my transition from karting into cars and I am looking forward to this next step in my racing career.

Thanks to everyone at Fortec Motorsport and Guy and Andy at greenlight sports management for opening this opportunity to me.

2021 Season Report

Date: 18th October 2021

This season I have been competing in Junior X30 with Fusion Motorsport, in the British Kart Championships and Little Green Man series. Here’s my results:

British Kart Championship:
Round 1 at Shenington was one of my best weekends this year. After starting on grid 2 and dropping down to 6th I managed to fight my way back through to finish 3rd place.

Round 2 at Kimbolton was one of many tough weekends for us, a crash in the pre-final meant I would be starting 30th for the final, I managed to make my way back up to 19th.

Round 3 at Larkhall was another hard weekend for us after a good day finishing 9th in the final on Saturday, we had issues with the kart on Sunday, after starting 24th and struggling to make any progress through the field I ended up finishing 29th.

Round 4 at Rowrah, this was a disappointing weekend as Rowrah is my home track, after struggling for pace in the wet heats I started 11th for the final, I was making steady process up the field then fell back down the order ending up 15th.

Round 5 at PFI was the final round, Struggling with pace due to issues with the kart unfortunately meant I finished 23rd on Saturday. A DNF in a heat on Sunday meant I started 21st I the final, I made up a few places to finish 17th.

A disappointing year finishing 13th in the championship standings.

Little Green Man Series:
Round 1 at PFI was a wet and tough weekend finishing 30th and 13th.

Round 2 at Warden Law was a hard weekend but we managed to get a 6th.

Round 3 at Rowrah was another disappointing weekend at my home track only managing to get 6th.

Round 4 at Larkhall after struggling for pace in practice we managed a 4th in the final.

Round 5 was the final round at Rissington, our pace was very promising and after a very hard race we finished 4th.

After consistent top 10 results in every race I finished 4th in the Championship.

I am now looking forward to the Girls On Track Rising Stars event starting on the 20th of October.
